AFTER years of flying under the radar, Zara’s designer perfume dupes are quickly becoming all the rage.
And the high-street retailer has recently unveiled even more top-tier scents that are dead on swaps for some of the most pricey colognes on the market.

To help shoppers sniff out the ideal dupe for them, beauty influencer Ann Nicole, who refers to herself on That Perfume Girl on social media, has created a handy video compiling the best switch based on your favourite notes.
In the caption of a clip shared on her Instagram page @annnicoleng__, the fragrance buff declared she was “blessing you with some affordable cheapies!”
She first suggested a switch for fans of YSL’s Libre, which sells at a staggering £92 for a 50ml bottle.
According to the perfume whizz, Zara’s Memorable Aura smells just the same – and it only costs £22.99 for an 80ml bottle.
That’s a saving of nearly £70, and £100 cheaper if you factor in the difference in the two’s sizes.
Both are vibrant floral scents with notes of orange blossom, perfect for those who like fresh, feminine scents.
The second savvy swap that Ann Nicole recommends is for lovers of Mugle’s Angel scent – the one that comes in the distinctive star-shaped bottle – which again comes in at £92 for 50ml.
You can pick up Zara’s dupe, Black Dart, for just £22.99 for 80ml.
The high-street version is described as “seductive and exquisitely feminine, with an extravagantly rich floral essence elevated by a sophisticated chypre undertone”.
It’s no surprise it reminds shoppers of Mugler’s one, which has notes of patchouli, just like chypre scents.
Her third recommendation is one she describes as her “favourite Zara dupe of all time”: the Red Temptation Elixir, which is apparently just like Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait.
Despite their being a whopping £310 price difference between the high-street and budget versions, Ann Nicole says Zara’s version “lasts about five to six hours”, and is every bit as deep and sexy as the original.
Both are warm, rich fragrances with notes of saffron and amber.
Viewers flocked the comments with love for Ann Nicole’s spot-on suggestions, particularly thanking her for the Red Temptation tip.
“Yasss this is my fav!!!” one wrote. “Gotta agree with you!!”
“I totally agree,” another added.
So in the run up to Christmas, it might be worth trying Zara before you splash the cash on an expensive designer fragrance.
The cheaper price tag means you can try out a couple before settling on the signature scent you want to stick with.
