The Los Angeles-based TikToker, who posts under the handle @balancedbeautylover, has over 5,400 followers.
She shared an old photo in which her skin looked uneven, dry, and aging before revealing how she transformed it with an anti-aging morning skincare routine.
“I start off with a gentle and hydrating cleanser like CeraVe’s Hydrating Cleanser because I have combination dry skin and it’s also pretty sensitive,” she said while applying the product.
“Studies have shown that melanated skin has lower levels of ceramides and ceramides help to protect the skin barrier.
“Also higher loss of moisture, which is why I keep my skincare focused on renewing, hydrating, and protecting.”
Having applied CeraVe’s Hydrating Facial Cleanser for $12 from Amazon, she used Paula’s Choice Advanced Replenishing Toner which is also available from Amazon for $27.
“Toner helps to remove any remaining dirt, residue leftover from cleansers, balances the PH of your skin, and also tightens pores,” she said.
“Paula’s Choice Replenish Toner is what I specifically use because it’s formulated for dry skin.

“Next I go in with my vitamin C serum,” she said holding Hyper Skin Hyper Even Brightening Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum, which costs $36 on the brand’s website.
“I prefer to apply after my toner because my skin is going to be more acidic, which lends to better the absorption of vitamin C.”
The beauty guru said essences aren’t essential in a skincare routine but she believes it helps with the absorption of serums.
She used Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener, available to buy on Amazon for $110.
“I then go in with a caffeine eye serum as well as an eye cream because I want to make sure that it’s not having to fight through any of the serums that I’m going to be adding later on,” she said.
“I also don’t use any actives on this part of my face because it is so sensitive.”
The Ordinary’s Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG, which costs $9, reduces puffiness and dark under-eye circles.
Meanwhile, La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane dermallergo eye cream “helps to restore skin’s natural protective moisture barrier around the eyes and eyelids,” according to its description on the Target website.

The TikToker sprayed her face with rosewater mixed with aloe vera juice to prepare her skin for the application of hyaluronic acid.
She used Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which costs $35, then waited five minutes to continue her skincare routine.
“I’m using Paula’s Choice 20% niacinamide,” she said.
“In all honesty, you don’t really need more than 5% and that’s probably going to be better especially if you have sensitive skin.
“I’ve built my skin up over the last three years to where it can handle this high percentage of niacinamide.
“I only use it once a day and only on the oily areas of my skin.”
