So if you have frizzy hair that can’t be tamed, but can’t afford to splash the cash on the posh Colour Wow Dream Coat, you’ll want to listen up.
Posting on social media, the savvy shopper shared her clip with the caption ‘I am shocked with the results comparing the Aldi Wonder Spray [£4.99] vs Colour Wow Dream Coat [£24.30]. What do we think?’
She then said: “We’re gonna compare the Aldi Lacura Wonder Spray, up against the Colour Wow Dreamcoat.
“Ingredients wise, there are a couple of extra ingredients in the Colour Wow one, but the main ingredients are identical to each other. The first 10 ingredients are the very same.

“I’m gonna spray the Aldi spray on one side and the Colour Wow on the other and compare and see.”
The beauty fan then sectioned her hair and sprayed each product on each side.
Following this, she added: “So straight away, the spray is not the same.
“I feel like this [Aldi] is more of a fine mist spray. You might just have to go in with a little bit more but that’s fine.
“Smell wise they smell the very, very same.”
Once she had blow dried and styled her hair, the social media user continued: “My hair is all blow dried so let’s talk through the results.
“I was just having a little feel of it and comparing both sides and both sides, my hand runs right through my hair.
“It feels so soft. Both sides are really, really sleek. It feels like I’ve been to the hairdressers and got it blow dried.
“It feels really soft, sleek and smooth.
“But the main thing for me with the Colour Wow is the shine and then the anti-humidity blocker, so your hair won’t get frizzy.”
Comparing each product, the bargain hunter confirmed: “There is no difference for me, at all.
“They feel the same, they smell the same, the results give the very same on both sides.
“The only difference for me is the price point.”
Aldi’s dupe buy is a staggering £19.40 cheaper than the cult classic Colour Wow buy, making it a much more affordable alternative.
The beauty fan later added: “Looking back at the results I think I see a better shine on the Aldi side.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @shapesandshadows, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 103,100 views.
Social media users were stunned at the cheap buy and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “I’m in shock over how good this is tbh, I actually found this dupe better than the original.”
Another added: “I need this in my life.”
A third commented: “Wow!!! Normally I don’t believe the hype of some dupes but this I do.”

To this, the beauty fan replied: “It’s amazing I still can’t get over it.”
