GROWING up most of us probably dreamt of having hair as long as Rapunzel’s blonde locks – but how easy is it to maintain it?
Well, someone who knows a little about this is Victoria Mable whose enviable hair is so long it’s grown way past her knees.

But although her natural locks look stunning and people have even jokingly dubbed it her ”tail”, Victoria recently revealed she’s had to change certain habits in her day-to-day life.
For instance, she shared in a clip posted on TikTok, the real-life ”Rapunzel” always has to put the hair in her lap whenever she sits down.
According to Victoria, who’s had long locks her ”entire life”, there have been far too many instances where strangers have sat on her hair on the train – and this little hack helps preventing awkward conversations.
Meanwhile, when it comes to completing various tasks throughout the day, Victoria, believed to be from Norway, also has to take drastic measures.
To ensure her blonde locks don’t get in the way, the young beauty enthusiast will tuck the long hair into her front pockets.
Over the years, Victoria has also had to come with a rather unique way of getting up whenever picking anything up from the floor.
While most of us will simply get back into a standing position without much thinking, the young woman will have to sway her hair to one side whilst simultaneously swinging herself to other side and slowly getting up.
But despite her best efforts, Victoria admitted that sometimes she still manages to step on her lush locks.
And there’s also a special technique she’s had to master if she’s bending over to grab something – she will use the one free hand to take whatever’s needed and use the other one to hold her hair in a ponytail.
”I don’t even think about doing these habits, they just happen automatically at this point since I’ve had my hair long my entire life,” she said in the caption.
After taking the internet by storm, Victoria was, perhaps unsurprisingly, met with an obvious question that many were wondering about – what does she do when going to the loo.
Although she hasn’t given a tutorial yet, Victoria said she’d soon upload a video in a Part II of her long hair series on her page.
Hundreds of social media users raced to comments to share their thoughts, with one writing: ”If I had hair this long, NO WAY would I have it down when out in public.”
Someone else chuckled: ”The “putting hair in my lap when I sit” gives me super villain vibes in a James Bond movie.”
Another was totally baffled, wondering: ”Why do you want such long hair if it’s making basic stuff awkward?
”I was always curious why people grow it after a certain point. Genuine question.”
”Too inconvenient for me,” a fourth reckoned.
”You could have your hair tied and that would solve all these,” a person shared a rather handy solution to Victoria, who later hit back saying she didn’t want to have her ”hair up all the time”.
