A huge group of holidaymakers were forced to run for their lives after a shark decided to swim right up alongside them.
Revellers fled the sea in a mass panic when the creature’s huge fin suddenly appeared near the shoreline at a packed beach in Florida, USA on Monday.
Terrifying footage showed the shark prowling through the water just metres away from children and families.
People can be heard screaming and shouting as they frantically make their way back onto Navarre Beach in Pensacola.
Panicked onlookers also urged them to get to the safety of dry land, with one yelling: ‘Get out, get out of the water.’Â
Another shouts: ‘Good God, people. Hurry, hurry.’
Christy Cox, who filmed the video, could also be heard begging beachgoers to get out of the water as the animal circled.

She says: ‘Where did it go? Where did it go? There’s somebody still out there. They’re still out there.’
Some fled with paddleboards and beach equipment, while others grabbed their kids and ran back to the beach.
Ms Cox told the Pensacola News Journal: ‘It all happened so fast that a dolphin was actually side by side with the shark at first and then disappeared further.’
She believes the shark was ‘trying to feed as they are expected and just passed by swimmers’.Â

‘Everyone was stunned as it moved down the beach, chasing the school of fish,’ she added.
‘We all just have to remember this is all natural and we are in their homes, so stay alert.’
No one is thought to have been injured.
Just the previous day, beachgoers at Perdido Key, also in Florida, were seen fleeing in terror as a shark swam towards them.
There has also been numerous sightings of sharks off the coast of Spain in recent weeks.
