Pine Barrens

If you want something that isn’t going to cost you a lot of money, you should check out the Pine Barrens. Sometimes it’s also called the Pinelands, and it’s the largest forest on the Atlantic Coast that’s left. 

You can hike, camp, or just observe the natural beauty in this forest. They are some of the most beautiful forests in the state, but make sure you check to see if it’s open, especially in the winter.

While the state is clean, the drivers can be very aggressive. They drive fast and can get frustrated very easily. If you’re going to go under any speed other than 85, make sure you stay out of the left hand. 

There are also many roundabouts or jug handles in the state, so you should read how to handle those if you’ve never had to use one before.
