A PAIR of step-siblings who got married have hit back at trolls who reckon their relationship is “weird”.
Matilda Eriksson, 23, and Samuli Eriksson, 27, from Finland, became siblings by law after her mum tied the knot with his dad in 2019.

However, a night of drunken passion a few years later – in 2021 – saw the duo realise they were madly in love with each other, with Matilda noticing that Samuli couldn’t keep his eyes off her at a gathering.
The young woman, too, noted that she ”got lost” in her step-sibling’s ”beautiful blue eyes”.
”What am I doing? What if someone notices? That’s so weird! I thought, blushing. He’s my stepbrother!” the 23-year-old shared the story with That’s Life.
The more time the duo spent together, the more the chemistry between them grew – and during one evening, 27-year-old Samuli even placed his hand on her leg.

But although Matila then pulled him aside and the two decided that this couldn’t ”go any futher”, the feelings continued to bloom – and there was no resisting the evident.
A week later, the step-siblings drove to their parents’ cottage – and the rest is history.
The two found themselves in a hot tub, with Samuli’s hand beneath her’s in the bubbly water.
Before Matila even had the chance to talk themselves out of it, their lips met – and it felt both ”wrong” and ”right” at the same time, she later told her mum.
Matila’s mother advised her daughter to listen to her heart – and so she did, with the couple moving in together shortly afterwards.
After sharng the story with her workmate, Matilda was met with criticism – and even some of Samuli’s pals branded it ”weird”.
”But we didn’t let other people’s opinions on our relationship get in the way of our love story.”
None of this mattered to the two – and six months later, they both proposed to each other at the same time and found the perfect engagement rings.
”We’re getting married!”Matilda happily shared the news with their parents, who showered them ”in love”.
The couple tied the knot earlier this May at the same place they met for the first time – their parents’ wedding place.
”Walking down the aisle in my princess dress, I locked eyes with my man and walked a little faster.
‘’I finally got my happily ever after,’’ Matilda chuckled.
The duo have since shared the story on TikTok in hopes to change the conversation around siblings by marriage relationships.
But whilst there has been negative reaction, with some calling their marriage ”ugly”, it looks as if the two lovebirds couldn’t care any less.
“We have been getting a lot of negative comments – seek therapy, disgusting, out of all the people in the world you would choose your step-brother and it makes me sick,” Matilda hit back at the trolls.
As for their future, the hubby and wife are now looking into buying their home, travel the world and hopefully have kids.
