Prioritize Protein

There are many natural sources of protein in your foods, so prioritizing these in your diet will help you gain muscle mass. Some of these high-protein foods include eggs, nuts, chicken, and more!

Typically, professionals will recommend doing at least five exercises per body part with four sets of 8-12 reps each. This will end up giving you about 200 reps for each of your body parts and will result in an intense full-body workout. 

Lift Heavy

While volume is important for your muscle growth, it doesn’t mean that you can lift light weights and gain the same amount of muscle. Instead, you should try to lift heavy. 

You should lift about 75% of the weight of your one-rep max. This will help you activate your fast-twitch muscle fibers, which are responsible for promoting muscle growth and increasing the size of your muscle cells.

Plus, lifting heavy will increase your hormone production, like testosterone, which helps as you are trying to gain muscle. 

Take Supplements

Something else that can help you increase your muscle growth is taking different supplements. Depending on the supplements, they can help you increase your energy during your workouts, recover faster, and stop muscle breakdown. 

One supplement that you can take throughout the day are BCAAs. These will help you maximize your muscle gains. Another great supplement you can take is creatine.
