Since the poles cross many times and intersect to create triangles, it gives a lot of stability to the tent. When it comes to bad weather and heavy rain, they do a better job than dome tents. This tent is like the dome tent but is more cylindrical and longer. In this, guy ropes are used for pitching, which means that they are rarely freestanding. Since they offer identical pole lengths and a great space to weight ratio, you don’t have to worry about mixing up the poles. The main issue with these tents is that if they are not properly pitched, they tend to sag in the middle.
Teepee Tent
Originally the cotton canvas tent, the teepee tent has a high ceiling, needs only a single pole, and is easy to pitch. But, it has a high pitching point and is heavy. In most cases, flooring is not offered.
