But last night viewers wanted to hide behind their sofas as they watched the singletons visit a therapist to open their boundaries.
And it saw the contestants really getting to know each other, with Roger and Janey even sucking on an ice cube together.
Roger was then tickled by a feather and elsewhere Paul was seen licking chocolate off Natalie’s neck after smearing it on there.
The premise of the show means the children of the single mums and dads are watching as all of this takes place.
And the kids looked mortified as they held their hands over the mouths while witnessing the intimate moments.
Wiewers were mortified, admitting they’d be “horrified” if they had to watch their parents do the intimate challenges.
Taking to social media, one person wrote: “The thought of watching my parents do this.. I’d just die there and then.”
A second said: “Loool I feel like I’m watching my own parents and it’s making me cringe but laugh at the same time.”
And a third echoed: “”I feel weird watching this, I can’t deal.”
Someone else commented: “Oh this is cringe. Poor kids!”
Just a few days ago, viewers of the show went wild after the first kiss of the series aired.
Over the last week, the singletons have been getting to know each other – but one couple who have grown very close are Paul and Natalie.
The budding romance went to the next step as they shared their first kiss and openly spoke about their feelings for each other.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the sweet moment, one fan said: “LOVED the kids reaction when Paul and Natalie kissed.”
Another tweeted: “I’ve loved this programme. Laughed out so loud when tor kids hid behind the cushions when the parents kissed.”
My Mum, Your Dad continues every night this week at 9pm on ITV
