South Korean TV network ENA has announced the premiere date of its upcoming K-drama series Moon in the Day, starring Kim Young-dae and Pyo Ye-jin.
Moon in the Day is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name. The romantic-fantasy K-drama series will tell a thousand-year-long love story, between a man for whom time has stopped and a woman who can’t remember her past lives.
Kim Young-dae of The Penthouse fame stars as Han Jun-oh, an A-list celebrity who find himself possessed by Do Ha, an aristocrat from the Silla Dynasty, after a car crash.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ye-jin (Taxi Driver) plays former firefighter Kang Young-hwa, who saved Jun-oh from the car crash. She’ll also portray Han Ri-ta, the sole survivor of a noble family from the Silla Dynasty.
The newly released poster of Moon in the Day shows Young-hwa, dressed in modern clothing, looking at Jun-oh, who’s wearing traditional clothes.
“While I am stuck here, you are flowing ceaselessly,” reads the caption of the poster. The K-drama will also star On Joo-wan (The Penthouse) and Jung Woong-in (The Good Bad Mother).
Moon in the Day, starring Kim Young-dae and Pyo Ye-jin, will premiere October 25 at 9pm on ENA, airing every Wednesday and Thursday. The series will also be available to stream on Viki in select regions.
