If reports are to be believed, Kanye West is preparing to release his next album – but he’s helping out a friend with his own music first.
The controversial American rapper, 46, has largely been off the grid this year after making a series of unsettling and anti-Semitic remarks in 2022.
He’s been spotted out and about with his reported new wife Bianca Censori, and has been causing controversy in Italy where they’ve been enjoying the summer months.
On the music front, it’s now been more than two years since the release of his last completed project, Donda, which was an international number one.
However, after rumours emerged earlier this year that a new project was nearly finished, Ye has jumped back into the studio to guest on a new track.
In a video posted by rapper and Kanye collaborator Albe Back, the Gold Digger rapper’s voice can be heard in an upcoming song from Albe’s new album.
Albe, whose real name is Albert Daniels, posted a clip of himself dancing around a studio with friends while his new song, titled Israel, plays loud.
In the beginning of the video, he shouts ‘You know I got the money!’ and ‘Tell me right now, is it real?’ before breaking into a rendition of a brand new verse.
He continues: ‘Y’all be talkin bout the Devil, I got a close up / Every night I coulda told everything they told us / They was talkin bout the style I said n***a Moses.’
The lyrics then reference Larry Hoover, a former gang leader currently serving six life sentences in jail who has been the subject of Ye’s lyrics in the past.

‘Ain’t nobody pardon Hoover but we got the closest,’ the FourFiveSeconds rapper can then be heard saying, having last referenced him on Donda in 2021.
Another song from Dying Near a Charger, titled Concussion, also features Kanye, with GOOD Music affiliate Fivio Foreign also set to feature on the track.
In recent weeks, Kanye was banned from renting boats by an Italian private ‘water taxi’ company after being caught with his trousers down (literally) while sailing around Venice.
His wife Bianca, 28, has also come under fire over her racy outfits which have included sheer tops and even walking around with a cushion over her breasts.
