Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are set to release another hot girl summer anthem and it promises to be even wilder than their last.
The dynamic duo last collaborated on the epic banger WAP – which stands for Wet A*s P***y – in 2020 and created a pop culture moment thanks to the track’s sexualised lyrics and music video.
However, the raunchy song drew criticism from around the world and there were complaints about their performance of the track at the Grammy Awards. It was even compared to porn in some instances.
Well, they’re clearly undeterred by the backlash as Cardi, 30, and Megan, 28, have announced they’re releasing the follow-up, Bongos, on Friday.
If the single artwork is anything to go by, it won’t be any less tame than WAP.
The two rappers promoted the single on their social media accounts using the cover photo, which shows Megan sitting on a pink chair holding a lollipop with her tongue sticking out, while Cardi – real name Belcalis Almanzar Cephus – stands in between her legs with her back towards the camera.

Their outfits are certainly eye-catching as Megan wears a bodysuit featuring a plunging neckline down to her navel, while Cardi’s bum is on full show while wearing a similar outfit.
Savage rapper Megan also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself sitting in a make-up chair while looking in the mirror as she sports multi-coloured curly hair.
Reacting to the artwork, one fan wrote on Instagram: ‘I know The visuals are gonna be fire per usual! Can’t wait! You never disappoint!!!’
‘Not my cup of tea but: Go Girls!’ one other cheered supportively.
Another fan predicted: ‘Cardi b and Megan about to have another Wap moment.’
‘WAP part 2 lets go,’ one commented.

One also quipped: ‘I’m gonna go ahead and guess that butts are gonna be bongos. At this rate, I’m excited for them to complete their collaborations until they’ve covered every body part.’
Bongos will mark Megan’s big music return after she took time out amid the Tory Lanez trial, where the R&B singer was found guilty of shooting her in July 2020 and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
In a statement read out in court, Megan – full name Megan Pete – explained how the incident has affected her over the past three years, saying: ‘As I reflect on the past three years, I view myself as a survivor, because I have truly survived the unimaginable.
‘[The verdict] was a victory for every woman who has ever been shamed, dismissed, and blamed for a violent crime committed against them.’
Bongos is out on Friday (September 8).
