The mum now wants to “end the diet cycle” and share her tips on how she managed to drop the pounds.
Abbie’s weight became a “real problem” following the birth of her son in 2017 after she put herself “at the bottom of the pile.”
She said: “I lost who I was and became ‘just mum’.”
Fast forward to 2020, Abbie then gave birth to her daughter who was premature which meant her mental and physical health “was in danger” and she turned to food for comfort.
She said: “I felt upset, angry and useless as a mother and food masked those problems – or so I thought.”
But after catching footage of herself playing with her children on their first family holiday as a four, Abbie was horrified at her weight gain.
It was at that point she knew “something had to change” if she wanted to be around to watch her children grow.
Abbie did The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan, which helped her to drop the pounds in a matter of weeks.
She now works for the weight loss plan as a consultant herself, and helps people to beat their food addictions.
Abbie understands what is feels like to hit “rock bottom” and how it feels to “use food to suppress your feelings” which is why she now helps others through this plan.
What is The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan?
According to its website, the diet is scientifically proven to provide all the nutrients you need while safely reducing your calorie intake with the support of a consultant.
It is for anyone with the desire to lose weight and is willing to trust their consultant and stick to their plan.
Their website reads: “From those wanting to shed a few extra pounds to those looking to improve their long-term health.

Abbie has documented her weight loss journey on her TikTok page which now has over 21.7k followers.
She often explains how it is all “mindset work” and it is “so important” that dieters work on this so that they don’t return to binge eating.
Abbie said: “I eat probably about 16 to 18 hundred calories per day and that is what saves me for my maintenance to maintain my weight within a seven pound bracket.
“If I want to have a takeaway over the weekend I absolutely will but it’s really important to remember, I will never return to how I was eating previously.
“So you won’t regain your weight back, because if you put in the work and you do the steps properly and you reverse diet properly you won’t regain that weight.
“But it is so so important that you work your way up those steps, because anybody can come in and do the lower steps and lose their weight really fast but essentially you’ve not learned anything because you’re not actually dealing with the root cause, which is the food.
