Envious of her grandmother’s dewy complexion, TikToker Stephanie Shin (@stephaniesshin) asked her for some anti-aging advice.
“She is in her 70s and this is how her skin looks,” she began in the clip.
“When I tell you that she has the glowiest, healthiest skin, I mean it.”
She then flashed a photo of her grandmother in her late 20s, alongside one of her today, noting: “She looks exactly the same.”
So, Stephanie probed. And she got answers.
“She told me all the secrets.”
The first point her grandmother made was to “avoid animal fats when possible,” and Stephanie revealed that she’s never seen her grandmother eat pork in her entire life.
“When we do eat any time of meat, the fat is getting snipped off with scissors.”

Sticking with diet tips, she said to eat as many fruits and veggies as you can.
“Most of her side dishes are rooted vegetables, fermented vegetables, or vegetables that are steamed and doused in sesame oil.
“She also eats a lot of fruit… any dessert is always fruit.”
Additionally, she recommends eating foods that are rich in collagen, like fish, pollack, and seafood.
The ageless woman also takes pride in her daily appearance, noting that she wears SPF and makeup every day.
“I’ve never seen my grandma not get ready, even if she’s doing nothing and staying home all day. She will apply SPF and makeup.”
That daily makeup comes with a price, however, as she said it’s important to remove it every night and wash your face thoroughly before bed.
“I always hear her spend 30 minutes in the bathroom. She has a very meticuluous skincare routine.”
Fitness also makes a difference, as the grandmother suggests exercising three times a week.
“Whether that’s just going on a walk, doing weights, or she loves golfing – she recommends working out because that gets your blood circulating and is really good for your skin I guess.”
Tip number six was to wear a sheet mask once a week.
And her method is a lazy girl’s dream.
“She just sits in front of her TV, watches her drama, while wearing her sheet mask.”
But before you apply it, she said to steam your face with a warm steam towel so that your skin is prepped to absorb all the mask’s product.
Although you may feel comforted by warm water on your skin, the expert recommended washing your face with cold water – even in the winter.
Viewers were in awe of her grandmother’s appearance and routine.
“Your grandma is a literal queen. Thanks for not gatekeeping this,” one person wrote.
“She still has glass skin,” noted another.
