Whilst it sounds too good to be true, Tiktok star Eleni claims that you can ditch the expensive skincare if you use this baby product.
In fact, she even made a video about her DIY hack and revealed that she prefers this item over other essential beauty buys.
“Forget about Vaseline or Aquahor for face slugging, we are going to be using a zinc oxide based cream to heal and repair the skin,” she said, as she revealed that she uses nappy cream to keep her skin glowing.
Though you might be tempted to skip this skin care tip, there is science to back up Eleni’s love of the unusual face cream.

Surprisingly, most nappy creams contain zinc oxide which is a chemical that helps to reduce the loss of fluid in our skin.
This is why products like Sudocream are so deeply moisturising, as the ingredient helps to protect babies’ skin by locking in moisture.
Zinc Oxide is also the perfect for when your skin is feeling a little bit lack lustre, with the content creator sharing her fool-proof method for locking in even more moisture.
Rather than just slathering it on, the beauty guru will use a face mask as well as her usual products before applying the nappy cream.
“My skin has been feeling super dry and irritated recently, so after doing a face mask, I’m doing a bunch of really hydrating skincare,” she explained, adding that she will let the various serum sink in to her skin.
After this, she will then slather the nappy cream on her face, neck and hands to stop the extra moisture from escaping.
Gushing about the hack, she told her 13,000 fans: “I’m just putting this right on my face…get it everywhere, get it over your eyelids, under your eyelids, get it on top of your lips and don’t forget your hands.”
Though we wouldn’t recommend going over your lips or too close to your eyes, the content creator insists that you will have ‘baby smooth skin’ in the morning.
As she continued to rub in her skincare, Eleni she admitted that it can take a few minutes to sink in but that it will be worth it.
She joked: “Remember the uglier you go to bed, the prettier you will wake up.”
It seems Eleni may have found the holy grail of skincare as her skin looked incredible, especially in the final frames of the short video.
Fans even backed up her claims, with one writing: “I did it too on my super irritated, compromised skin and [it] worked like magic.”
For those who are wanting to recreate this DIY skincare hack, you can find a large tub of Sudocream at Boots for just £3.75.
