A leash and a collar are some of the more obvious necessities when it comes to bringing your new pet home. Be sure to choose the right size for your dog. You won’t want it to be too big or too small as both present concerns.
A nametag is very important if your new dog were to get loose. Put your name, the dog’s name, your phone number, and your address on the tag so that you have the best chance of getting them back.

Gates are good for limiting where your dog can go in your home. While they are still learning, there may be some areas you don’t want them to explore yet.
Dog doors can be really useful for those who want their pet to choose when they go outside. This is great for those who have a safe space outside for their dog to access.
