EVER since replacing disposable razors with another brand, it’s been nothing but smooth sailing – and smoother legs – for one woman.
She also shared another affordable shaving staple that had saved her skin.

A LEG UP
Redditor Pinupjunkie gave herself a leg up with just a few easy steps.
“I finally started getting the smoothest legs with this routine,” she said.
She begins by using a sugar scrub.
Then comes the shaving – and she is a big fan of one razor brand.
“Make sure you are replacing your razor head regularly,” she said.
“I don’t know how much brand matters but I used to always buy cheap disposable razors,” she continued.
“I bought my Flamingo because I wanted to reduce plastic waste, but the shave is so good I’d never go back anyway.”
The Flamingo razor sells for $8 and is described as offering an extra close and comfortable shave.

It features sharp blades and a 360-degree comfort system to save skin from unwanted irritation.
It is also designed with a flexible hinge and ergonomic handle.
OIL OVER
She then makes sure to follow up with Tree Hut’s Shave Oil.
“Omg, love this oil so much,” she said.
Tree Hut Bare Moroccan Rose Moisturizing Shave Oil sells for $10 on Amazon and is described as offering plenty of hydration for a smooth glide.
It also helps to prevent nicks and cuts, making it ideal for those who contend with ingrown hairs and razor bumps.

She added that she always makes sure to apply body butter afterward before sharing other words of shaving wisdom.
“Lotion up again before bed,” she said.
One Redditor had a question of their own.
“Does the shave oil leave the tub slippery?” she asked.
“Nope, it rinses off beautifully!” she replied.
MORE TIPS
Others also gave their own tips.
“After shaving, I use an exfoliating mitt, then a good lotion afterwards,” wrote one user.
“I started using shaving oil before as a replacement for shaving cream. I love it!” another chimed in.
“Aveeno skin relief body oil spray. It smells like literal heaven too!” a fellow Redditor commented.
“Jojoba oil before drying” said a user.
