A No Objection Certificate or NOC is a legal document issued by a competent authority, permitting the transfer of ownership of a property from one individual to another. TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN
I, (Name), son/ daughter/ wife of (Name), aged ___ years, residing at (Full Address), do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:
- that I am the present registered consumer of (Name of the Electricity Board / Company) having Consumer Number _________ and Billing Unit ______ for the (Address);
- that I do hereby convey, on my own free will and wish, my consent and grant No Objection for accepting the request for Change of Name for the said Consumer Number in favour of (Name of the Person), son/ daughter/ wife of (Name), aged ___ years, residing at (address);
- that I shall not hold (Name of the Electricity Board / Company) liable for any dispute or claim pertaining to Change of Name in favour of (Name of the Person);
- that the said Change of Name is solely for the purpose of changing the name of electric connection and not for any other purpose;
- that I have enclosed a self-attested copy of my Aadhar / Passport / Driving License as a proof of my identification for your kind records; and
- that the above-mentioned statements are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and that I have not concealed any information in this regard.
