Haircare expert Jade Carroll Free (@taylor_jade1) underwent a hair transformation that took her follicles from fried to fabulous.
Now she educates others about proper practices to promote growth and healthy locks.
She addressed the importance of scalp health in an Instagram Reel and how she maintains her hair after the gym.
Being a former IFBB bikini competitor, she’s spent countless hours exercising and pushing herself to her limits.
As a result, she’s usually doused in sweat from head to toe.
Thankfully, she has a simple solution to make sure that her hair looks her best and her locks still look full and fresh.
She filmed herself post-workout as she blowdried her scalp and ends of her hair.
The fitness fan wore a black long-sleeve cropped workout top and tight lavender-colored athletic leggings.

The style accentuated her toned figure and complimented her long, brown hair with blond highlights.
Jade explained in a subtitle that she was giving a PSA to all the “girlies worried about her” doing it.
“When you focus on scalp health, your scalp should not smell from refreshing your hair after the gym,” the subtitle read.
The haircare trick was completely free and full of additional benefits other than a dry scalp.
“This tip helped me extend my washes!!!” a viewer commented.
She added in the video caption that she’s been using this tip for as long as she’s been working out and “everything’s all good.”
It may be loud and noisy depending on the blowdryer but it doesn’t leave an odor behind and doesn’t involve any products or chemicals.
You can simply just blow dry and go about your day with fresh hair that looks like you stepped out of the salon.
Apparently, not everyone was a fan of her advice, and she added that some people were upset by it.
Jade tried not to let it get to her and explained that she was there to “share the love” and everything she’s done to manage and transform her scalp and hair health.
Many viewers appreciated her hack and some already tried it themselves.
“The thing is, your sweat is probably better for your hair than the water that comes out of the faucet like no joke!” one agreed.
“I do it and it has saved my hair,” a woman said.
“I do the same and my hair still looks fresh,” another added.
