THE Champions League draw was forced to be re-drawn after an almighty balls-up by Uefa.
The draw initially took place in Nyon, Switzerland this morning and saw Manchester United draw Paris Saint-Germain in the tie of the round.

But it was quickly spotted that a huge error put the validity of the draw in question.
Uefa completed the draw and moved on to their Europa League equivalent.
But as their mistake quickly circulated online, Uefa decided that they’d have to conduct it again.
Why was the Champions League draw RE-DRAWN?
United’s number was left out of the pot in the draw to face Atletico Madrid.
Things had already started shakily for the Red Devils as they waited to find out who they would face in the next round.
They were initially drawn against Villarreal – something that should not have been possible as they were both in Group F and therefore not eligible to meet in the last-16.
An initial redraw was ordered and United’s crosstown rivals Man City were then selected to play Unai Emery’s side.
Crucially, United were not then put back in the mix to face Atletico – with another group-stage foul-up adding to Uefa’s woes.
When is the Champions League re-draw?
The re-draw will commence at 2pm, in Nyon, Switzerland.
All eight ties will be picked again, despite Real Madrid’s clash with Benfica having been drawn prior to Uefa’s Manchester United gaffe.
