PAUL SCHOLES has congratulated former Manchester United team-mate Ryan Giggs after Wales reached their first World Cup in 64 years.
That’s despite interim Rob Page being in charge for the last 20 months as Giggs awaits a domestic violence case in August.

Wales sealed a stunning return to the world’s greatest sporting tournament as they beat Ukraine 1-0 on Saturday.
Gareth Bale and Co. will face England, USA and Iran in the group stages at Qatar 2022.
And Page is now a national hero after also leading Wales to Euro 2020 last summer.
But Scholes took to Instagram congratulating Wales’ World Cup qualification by posting a picture of Giggs clapping.
The former Old Trafford winger was arrested in November 2020, resulting in Page becoming interim boss.
Giggs is set to stand trial in Manchester on August 8.
But he remains contracted to the Football Association of Wales until the end of the World Cup campaign.
Giggs denies all the allegations.

And SunSport exclusively revealed last month Wales faced being without a manager entirely with Page’s contract almost up.
We also told you how Burnley were exploring a move for the tactician.
However, interim Page has allayed fears by confirming his deal has been extended after Wales finally reached another World Cup.
Page said: “My contract, at the end of the game (against Ukraine), if it hadn’t gone our way, I would have been out of contract.
“I would have been stood here without a contract.
“That’s not the case because we have qualified, so that naturally gets extended now.
“So yeah, my contract has extended to whatever stage we go out at in the World Cup.”
