Raducanu, 20, last played in the first round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart where was knocked out by Jelena Ostapenko.
The former 2021 US Open women’s singles champ currently stands at 194 in the WTA ranking.
The tennis superstar had surgery in May which she announced on social media.
Since then she has been on the road to recovery and was spotted last month back at training.
While working on her comeback the youngster has taken time out to travel and recently visited her mother’s home country China.
On her visit to Shenyang, she opened up about her love for Mahjong with her grandmother.
She told Porsche: “I recently learned Mahjong and feel most at home and my true self when I’m around the kitchen table at my grandma or aunt’s place in Shenyang playing with family.”
The Chinese game Mahjong is usually played with four people, with the tiles having to be arranged in specific orders to create a winning hand.
Radicanu has spent countless hours on the court but the star has a love for things other than tennis.
Asked about her other hobbies, she said: “They include Mahjong, piano, reading, learning new cultures and languages, motorsport, driving and diving.
“On a day off, I like to practice some piano… I just started to learn and have a long way to go but I really love the melodies once you get it.
“Also having picked up Mahjong and now enjoy playing with whoever I can find. And I just love driving.”
Raducanu pulled out of the Madrid Open due to her injury and also missed out on reclaiming her title in the US Open earlier this month.
