AJAX have confirmed Alfred Schreuder as Erik ten Hag’s replacement.
The Amsterdam giants will lose Ten Hag at the end of the season after five years in charge.

He accepted the vacancy at Manchester United to take over from interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
And Schreuder is going to fill his place in the dugout.
The Dutchman, 49, only took over as Club Brugge in January.
But four months later he has confirmed his exit to take the gig at Ajax, where he was Ten Hag’s assistant during their incredible Champions League run to the semis in 2018-19.
He has also spent time as an assistant at Vitesse, Twente, Hoffenheim and under Ronald Koeman at Barcelona, as well as being the No1 for brief stints with Twente and Hoffenheim.
Schreuder will put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option for an extra 12 months.
The former Feyenoord player said: “Becoming head coach at Ajax is an honour and a great opportunity, that I will grab with both hands.
“I’m also excited to return here, because I enjoyed the one-and-a-half years I’ve worked at Ajax very much.
“I wish to win prizes here in Amsterdam, with a team that plays attractive football with a good balance between experienced top players and very big talents.
“But first I want to end the season with Club Brugge successfully.
“I want to say goodbye with a title, that is very important to me and I will do my absolute best to accomplish that.”
Ajax and Ten Hag have already wrapped up the Dutch Eredivisie title but Schreuder’s Club Brugge sit three points clear of Union SG in the Belgium championship play-offs with two matches to go.
His new boss, Ajax CEO Edwin van der Sar, added: “We know Alfred as a tactically strong coach with good and versatile exercise material.
“These last years he has gained experience as a head coach and as an assistant coach at top clubs in various countries and competitions.
“We have a lot of faith that he will give a good continuation to the path we have chosen at Ajax these last years in both the Eredivisie and the Champions League.”
