Rumours started circulating that the show was making a return when the show’s stars Joanna Page and Mathew Horne were spotted on a night out together in Wales.
And even Stacey actress Joanna Page wants another series!
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, she said: “Ruth and James haven’t given any indication whether they’re planning future episodes, although given the cliff-hanger the Christmas special was left on, how could they not?
“As a fan, surely they’ve got to do another one,”
BBC’s Charlotte Moore said there were no plans for the show to return this Christmas

She told the hosts: ‘There aren’t any plans to write anything.
“Obviously James (Corden) is in America and I’m in Wales.
