WETHERSPOONS drinkers were stunned when Sydney Sweeney strolled into the Corn Exchange in Bury St Edmonds – on Curry Club night.
The 26-year-old was seen posing with staff members as she enjoyed a family meal on both Thursday and Friday night, according to employees.

The actress could be seen wearing a figure-hugging black strappy dress as she smiled with one of the pub’s employees in a snap shared on Facebook.
The worker penned: “Not Sydney Sweeney popping in for curry club.”
They added: “Fully we didn’t know what to do with ourselves.
“Never cleared an I order screen so fast to get a picture!
“It’s just so confusing what they’re doing in a small town in the middle of England like what??
“I’ve served Bex from Eastenders and now her – they don’t compare but still exciting.”
Wetherspoons hosts curry clubs every Thursday across the country – including Chicken korma, sweet potato curry and Chicken vindaloo.
A spokesman for the pub chain told the Mail Online: “It’s fantastic that such a big Hollywood star chose to enjoy a few drinks and a meal at the Corn Exchange in Bury St Edmunds.
“By all accounts she was very generous with her time to both customers and staff and it’s very heartwarming that she took the time and the trouble just to chat and have photos with people at the pub.”
Sydney was in the country as she joined members of the Rolling Stones at the launch of their new album Hackney Diamonds in London on Wednesday.
The actress, who got her breakout role in The Handmaid’s Tale, had a starring role in the band’s music video.
Sydney has managed to make a big name for herself in Hollywood.
She earned a 2022 Emmy nomination for her performance on The White Lotus and earned another nomination that year for her work on Euphoria.
