WE ALL know not to mix cleaning products with technology but in this case, that was unavoidable.

In a TikTok skit shared to her Instagram, professional cleaner Katie Kremer detailed how she once had to clean a bathroom after a laptop exploded everywhere.

Yeah, you read that right. A laptop.

Though the source of the mess is unknown, it’s possible that a battery could have exploded.

Laptop battery can explode when it overheats, is overcharged, or has manufacturing defects.

In the skit that appears to be a true story, Katie Kremer who refers to herself as “your cleaning lady” arrived to clean a townhouse.

She had no other expectations than it was “really dirty.”

Upon Katie’s arrival, the house owner Jessica revealed, “A laptop exploded in the master bathroom,” leaving an apprehensive Katie to go get the job done.

Katie then shared raw footage of the peculiar scene in question.

The bathroom was covered in silver coating from top to bottom.

On the topic of unbelievable cleaning stories, this woman accidentally dissolved her floor when a TikTok cleaning hack went wrong. TikTok user Chey was on a mission to clean the grout between the tiles on her floor with toilet cleaner.

She got more than she bargained for when the actual grout began to dissolve out of the floor.

Though it was a popular trend on TikTok, Chey forgot two important things needed for the cleaning technique to work properly.

One: The hack was designed solely for white grout, not black grout. As toilet cleaner has bleach in it and bleach is designed to make things whiter, the bleach made the grout blacker.

Two: The toilet cleaner should not have been left on for too long, the maximum being 15 minutes before the cleaning product started doing heavy damage to her floor.
