In her video, Alisha Larson (@alisha_larson) demonstrated how to make a DIY “charcuterie tree.”
For her first step, the TikToker picked up her supplies in her local Aldi store.
“I grabbed all items that were already toothpick ready, no cutting involved,” she explained.
Alisha picked up a selection of salami, cheddar cheese, stuffed olives, and cherry tomatoes.
She also purchased a grooved wooden cutting board for her presentation.
“Run and grab this serving board, it’s perfect for hosting and only $9.99,” Alisha told her audience.
She also found cinnamon cookies in the shape of stars to add to the top of her edible tree.
After returning home, Alisha began to assemble her DIY charcuterie decoration.
“My Christmas tree cone came from Hobby Lobby but Walmart also has them,” she told viewers.
“Before starting, wrap the cone in plastic wrap,” Alisha recommended.
She advised her followers to add their desired food items in whatever design or order they wished.
For her final touch, Alisha added a festive tree topper with the star cookies.
“Then I topped it off with these random gingerbread stars and some rosemary to give it a tree feel,” she explained.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.
“That looks amazing and delish!” wrote one impressed follower.
“The rosemary was a great idea!” said another viewer.
“Cute as decorations but it seems very difficult or embarrassing to grab,” commented a third person.
