A tragic video shows the final hours of a nurse who died after becoming infected with Covid.
Sergio Hernandez sent a video to his relatives in Madera, California before dying on Friday while fighting coronavirus in Mexico.
‘I will come back, this is not a goodbye,’ he said. ‘I am sure I will come back after a few days.’
The 28-year-old frontline worker had to be intubated and died a few hours after sending this video.

‘I want that, no matter what happens, and the prognosis that God has reserved for me, you always remember me for who I was and who I am,’ he said.
Hernandez leaves behind a son and the rest of his family in Chihuahua, Mexico, while other relatives remain in California.
His cousin Adalberto Hernandez, says Sergio’s sister also died from Covid in August. She was 30 years old.
Their parents and other relatives also contracted the virus, but recovered.
‘It tears you apart… someone who’s young with his own children, and was helping people, no health complication, young, strong, full of life,’ Adalberto said. ‘It took him in eight to 10 days after testing positive.’
Hernandez’s parents also became infected with coronavirus, but they survived it.
After dealing with so many hospitilizations due to the virus, the family is now in debt.
They have started a GoFundMe page to help with the hospital and funeral bills.
Mexico had more than 10,000 cases in just the past day, according to Johns Hopkins University. They have close to a million cases throughout the country and nearly 100,00 have died.
In the US, there are 10.6 million cases and 243,000 Americans are dead.
