PARENTS know well the stress of hoping their child hits certain milestones when they’re told they should.
One mom said she was ready for her little one to start walking, and it all happened thanks to a couple of fruit.

Girl mom Cameron (@cam_breedlove) said she turned to social media for a hack that would help her daughter start taking strides unassisted.
“TikTok said to give your toddler two limes to hold to help them walk on their own,” she revealed in the clip.
The video then showed her daughter standing up while holding on to a chair.
Cameron handed her two limes, one for each hand, and her baby girl held them tightly without hesitation.
Letting go of the chair and holding nothing but the citrus high up, she began walking towards her mother.
The toddler then continued to wander around the room confidently with her limes in tow.
“Emotional support limes,” Cameron cheekily captioned it.
After one user wondered why the trick works, hoping it would do the same for her own son, a commenter explained that it’s “neuroscience, as you are tricking the brain into balancing and coordinating better.”
Another person shared her own piece of advice: “Carrots work better. It will feel like they are holding someone’s fingers.”
Others were just thankful for the tip and proud of the little one.
“Oh I’m trying this! My daughter is 13 months old and isn’t walking yet,” one person shared.
“The face of concentration on her! Yay!” another applauded.
