Who will replace Brian Williams?
Announcing his departure he said the network is “a part of me and always will be.”
Replacing his show on December 10 is a documentary called Paper & Glue, according to the schedule.
The 11th Hour from December 13 will be anchored by a rotating group of guest hosts, a network spokesperson said.
Who will replace Rachel Maddow?
The future of anchor Rachel Maddow, 48, at the NBC Universal-owned channel is more uncertain.
She is currently the anchor for The Rachel Maddox Show, which airs at 9pm and is MSNBC’s top-rated programme featuring a mixture of news, opinion and entertainment.
Maddow is negotiating over a new production deal, according to Variety, which could see a significant scaling back of her primetime duties.
Reports say that one plan under consideration is for Maddow to do one show a week, though MSNBC is hoping to convince her to do more.
No replacement for Maddow has been announced but speculation has already started about her replacement.
There appears to be three main frontrunners for the job, according to CNN.
Ali Velshi, a MSNBC veteran who currently front’s the channel’s weekend mornings and has acted as her fill-in host in the past.
Ari Melber, who currently hosts The Beat and is MSNBC’s chief legal correspondent.
Nicolle Wallace, who is the face of the channel’s Deadline: White House and is a regular contributor to the Morning Joe show.

Why are Brian Williams and Rachel Maddow leaving MSNBC?
Williams announced his departure from his show on November 9, releasing a statement, saying: “This is the end of a chapter and the beginning of another.
“There are many things I want to do, and I’ll pop up again somewhere.”
Unnamed sources told Variety that Williams’ contract was up at the end of the year and cite “he felt continuing the same job for several more years was less appealing than taking some time for himself and considering potential offers, according to these people.”
The motive behind Maddox’s departure is far less clear.
According to the Daily Beast, she is said to have expressed a desire to pursue streaming and podcast projects.
