Jamie Laing was launched into the spotlight when he joined the cast of Made In Chelsea in series two.

He was born in Oxford on November 3 1988 and has eight siblings – two sisters from his dad’s first marriage, an older brother and younger sister from his dad’s second marriage to his mum and then a younger brother from his dad’s third wife.

His mum also has two stepchildren from her remarriage.

Jamie runs his own YouTube channel, Jamie Laing’s Happy Hour, where he shares videos of his life and has over 74,000 subscribers.

Alongside his six years on the show, the affluent Chelsea lad has also embarked on a career in the confectionery world.

Reports revealed the McVitie’s biscuit heir had opened up about his “premium gourmet sweet brand”, Candy Kittens, on his LinkedIn profile.

On September 5, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed that Jamie had been forced to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing due to a foot injury.

He landed awkwardly during the group dance on the pre-recorded opening show.

The Sun revealed how Jamie was in doubt for the series after being seen on crutches at the weekend.

Starring on MIC has opened many avenues for Jamie in the world of showbiz.

In February 2019, he took part in Channel 4 four-part series Famous And Fighting Crime that pretty much does what it says on the tin – it’s famous people fighting crime on the UK’s streets.
