UFO congress hearing LIVE — Likelihood of sightings news revealed as first meeting in 60 years to spill space secrets
THE United States Congress is holding a public discussion about UFOs today for the first time in half a century.
The UFO hearing will cover evidence of what the US military calls unidentified aerial phenomena, or “UAPs.”
The inquiry comes after a recent military report citing 11 “near misses” between UAPs and US fighter jets, which does not mention aliens.
Tuesday’s hearing is expected to cover the possible origins of the unidentified objects, which move unlike anything known to science and that some people have suggested are top-secret aircraft built by foreign adversaries.
Others believe their origins are extraterrestrial.
The hearing is set for 9am EST. The US House Intelligence Committee’s Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Counterproliferation Subcommittee will take the floor and the hearing is chaired by Congressman André Carson.
