ORE Oduba has reunited with his dad for the first time in nearly three years.
The Strictly star feared he wouldn’t see his father, who lives in Nigeria, again after Covid kept them apart, but was overcome with emotion as they finally spent time together.

His dad got the chance to meet his daughter for the first time
The reunion was even more special as his dad got the chance to meet Ore and wife Portia’s second child Genie for the first time.
Sharing a series of pictures from their time together, he said: “After nearly 2 and a half years we FINALLY got to see my dad… 🙏🏾
“We haven’t seen him since 2019 !!!! He’s 85 and has been struggling along over in Nigeria ever since.. and with everything that’s happened in that time (A LOT!!!) it’s fair to say we weren’t sure whether we’d see him again… but thank God he made it.
“And finally met his fourth grandchild. This morning he left for the airport… it’s been a very emotionally charged 24 hours 🥺 last pic is the last time he saw Roman!!!!”
He added: “Oh and we celebrated with a KFC bargain bucket… some 25+ year old traditions never change.”
The 36-year-old TV star and Portia welcomed their daughter in October of last year.
The presenter already has a three-year-old son, Roman Ore, with the TV researcher, to whom he has been married since 2015.
Ore rose to fame as the face of CBBC’s Newsround before winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
He later appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which is has described a life changing experience – despite him ending up unresponsive and suffering from hypothermia.
