But unfortunately for one bride, whose identity remains anonymous, the big day will be even more frustrating, as trolls online questioned her choice of footwear.
The unusual shoes were a pair of white heeled crocs with pink detailing, which the woman claimed to be ”obsessed” with.
But despite the hefty price tag – some believed they were by the Spanish luxury fashion house Balenciaga – the footwear was not a winner amongst social media users.
More than 500 people liked the post shared on Facebook and over 140 flocked to comments to express their horror.
Mortified by what they were seeing, Facebook fans branded the heeled crocs a monstrosity that will make her feet sweaty and slippery.
”I literally gasped out loud. Fugly af,” one couldn’t believe their eyes.
”Okay I’m a crocs lover but even I think these are gross. It entirely defeats the purpose of crocs,” someone else added.
”Till her feet get sweaty and slide down the shoe and she breaks an ankle,” another wrote.
”Why did they make the heel itself black when the crocs are white,” a fourth wanted to know.
The luxury firm launched the stiletto crocs back in 2021 and a pair of these will set you back by over £400.
Fashion mag Elle said: “Behold, the stiletto croc. A chance to see the world’s most functional shoe take on a new impracticality.
“For Balenciaga’s Spring 2022 collection, the luxury fashion house has once again teamed up with Crocs, producing both the croc stiletto and also croc boots.”
Speaking of weddings, one newly-wed groom has been slammed after he was carried down the aisle in a coffin at his funeral-themed wedding.
One of the wedding guests filmed the unusual nuptials, where the groom made the bizarre choice to be carried into the outdoor ceremony in a black coffin.
A video which has quickly gone viral and has gained a whopping 8.1million views on TikTok, shares the unique wedding day antics.
Whilst dramatic music played in the background, a big car arrived and the doors were opened, revealing a casket with the groom inside.
The footage was shared on TikTok by user @tobz88, who said: “Is this a funeral? No this is how my friend decided to walk down the aisle”.
The video is captioned: “Tell me you’re dramatic without telling me you’re dramatic”.
But to add to the strangeness of the couple’s big day, it wasn’t a purely gothic-themed wedding – as the groomsmen wore pale grey suits and the bridesmaids were seen in floaty blue maxi dresses.
The video sees the wedding guests standing in anticipation for the groom’s arrival, with many filming the bizarre entrance.
We see the bridesmaids and groomsmen struggling to lift the heavy coffin down the aisle.
The coffin is carried to the end of the aisle, to the spot where the bride and groom will make their solemn vows.
The viral clip shows wedding guests looking on with a mix of interest and confusion, with one groomsman even seen shaking his head.
Once the casket is placed down, the soon-to-be-married groom steps out of his wooden box and is seen wearing a smart white blazer and black bow tie.
The strange entrance choice has not been explained, and the bride is nowhere to be seen either.
The bride’s reaction has not been revealed either.
However, the short clip has certainly caused some controversy on the app as the couple was slammed for being ‘disrespectful.’
One user stated: “We would be divorced before we said I do.”
Another said: “They all were so embarrassed, I’d be embarrassed as well, no offence.”
A third commented: “His only explanation better be that life wasn’t worth living until he met me?”.
