Centenarian couple Marjorie Fiterman,102, and Bernie Littman, 100, married each other on May 19, after meeting in their care home nearly a decade ago.
The couple, who have a combined age of 202 years, may have broken a Guinness World Record.
The previous record holders, according to Fox News, belonged to Doreen and George Kirby of England, who had a combined age of 194 years when they wed on June 13, 2015.
The Philadelphia newlyweds have proved it’s never too late to tie the knot, and their families are very happy for them.
Bernie’s granddaughter, Sarah Sicherman, told Fox News it was great that he had found a companion ‘to do activities and spend time with’.
She said they were ‘so lucky to have found each other’ and that they supported each other well throughout the pandemic.

Writing on Facebook, Sarah said: ‘Next week my 100-year-old grandfather is marrying his 102-year-old girlfriend!
‘This unique celebration, marking a century of memories and more, promises to be an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and a testament to timeless affection. Mazal tov!’
Bernie had previously been married to Bernice for 65 years, who passed away in 2012.
A few years later he then met Marjorie at a costume party and the pair ended up having their first date on the same day his great-granddaughter was born.
His family said his plans to marry Marjorie had been a ‘surprise’ as they ‘assumed they would just live out their days status quo’.

The Rabbi, Adam Wohlberg, who married the couple, said to Fox News, the pair got to the point ‘where being not just close friends – but husband and wife – felt like the right step to take’.
He didn’t give them any marriage advice at the ceremony because they already had a wealth of experience in that department.
The Rabbi said: ‘I think it is safe to say each of you, what you know and understand about each other, is exactly what the future holds for you and your partner. And what you have determined you love about each other – well, those things are not about to change.’
Marjorie had been married to her husband Morris before he passed away in 1999, but knew ‘someone incredibly special had come into [her] life’ when she met Bernie.

There’s a chance the newlyweds crossed paths decades earlier when they were both students at the University of Pennsylvania, studying at the same time.

With different degrees in different departments, they didn’t know of each other when they were there though.
Their Rabbi joked the pair may make the cover of the university’s alumni magazine when the next edition comes out.
Bernie’s daughter Sarah also commented on the couple’s Guinness World Record application, saying it was ‘pending,’ but that she and her family believe the newlyweds are the ‘Oldest Aggregate Age Couple to Marry, by about eight years’.
