A LOVING wife has been left red-faced after setting fire to her own garden fence.
Danielle Rose decided to treat her husband and rustle up a steak on the barbecue, but it was such a disaster, it cost her hundreds and she’s been banned from cooking on the coals.

A spurt of hot sunshine has got Brits back into the garden in September, but barbecuing burgers and bangers can have some chaotic consequences, as Danielle discovered.
“I’ve been banned from the BBQ,” she captioned her video, which reveals all.
Filming in selfie mode, Danielle looks solemn-faced as she describes her well-meant meal.
“The most expensive meal I ever made for my husband was $625 (£500),” she shares.

“It was $50 (£40) for the steaks I bought at Costco and $575 (£460) for the fence I burnt down while making them.”
Danielle smiles sarcastically, owning her mistake, then takes the camera through the house and towards the scene of the crime.
Stepping outside into the back garden, viewers can see a candy floss machine on the patio.
In the background is a long white fence with a whole panel missing, exposing what we assume is the neighbour’s garden.
“I did that,” she states, pointing to the empty space.
Walking further into the garden, Danielle points the camera at a man grafting away trying to replace the incinerated fence panel.
Those two treat steaks turned out to be a very expensive treat but, luckily, Danielle is absolutely not alone.
730,000 people have tuned into her video so far, and they’ve had their own embarrassing tales to tell.
One user revealed: “My wife got you beat. Made me a steak and lobster tail one night. I’ve been paying for that for 14 years now.”
A second confessed: “A pizza once cost us $700 (£560) because my dog barked so hard at the delivery guy her eye popped out of the socket and she had to go to the emergency vet.”
A third said: “Don’t feel bad… I melted the siding on my house.”
And a fourth commented: “My sunglasses cost me $300 (£240). $20 (£16) for the glasses and the rest towards the repair of the lift gate on my SUV, after I backed into a pole in the parking lot.”
Finally, someone asked the question everyone had on their lips – did they eat the steaks?

Danielle replied: “Burnt to a crisp.”
