But one wedding planner has shared a faux pas plenty of brides make, that means they end up heading down the aisle with their nails all scuffed.
Courtney Bradley is a wedding consultant, whose company The Engagement Studio helps to-be-weds plan their perfect day.
And in a video posted to her thousands of TikTok followers, she shared the tip that she “literally pleads with the brides I talk to to remember”.
“If you’re planning a shower, or party, or your wedding reception, or anything, please listen,” she adds, “because this will save you so much stress.”
Her stellar recommendation is that as you buy all of your decor, you take the price tag off everything as you go.
You should also “take everything out of the package”, she advises, “do not wait until the week before”.
It’s the perfect opportunity to check that all the elements of what you ordered are there.
For example, the planner ordered some lanterns for an upcoming nuptials, only to find the company forgot to include the metal pole needed to put them up.
And regardless, once you’ve had your nails perfectly painted, the last thing you want to be doing is peeling sticky price tags off items and ripping open cardboard packaging.
They’re bound to chip, and you’ll end up trying to find somewhere to fix them in a massive last-minute panic.
The clip quickly racked up almost 30,000 views, with brides flooding the comments with gratitude for the simple hack.
“Thank you!! Haven’t heard this one,” wrote one.
“Best tip!! Haven’t heard it on Wedding TikTok yet,” another added.
