The “collapse” occurred early Saturday evening at an oceanfront home set along Pacific Coast Highway in the beachside community’s Big Rock neighborhood.
Fire officials confirmed that they transported four patients to nearby trauma centers.
Other people who suffered more “minor injuries” were being treated at the house.
As a precaution, the home is being “red-tagged” so that come Monday building inspectors can properly evaluate what happened.
