Karine Jean-Pierre targeted by Putin propaganda with racist hosts saying she’s WH press sec because she’s ‘black & gay’
KARINE Jean-Pierre has been targeted by Russian trolls who claim she became White House press secretary because she’s black and gay.
Putin’s propagandists claimed on state media that the 47-year-old was not chosen because of her skills and ability.

In a racist and homophobic tirade, they claimed Jean-Pierre, who is from Martinique, will be replaced within two months by a white, heterosexual male.
Host Evgeny Popov said: “This girl will make it for a month or two, then she’ll be replaced, to your satisfaction.”
Popov said he’s university-educated but claimed it doesn’t make him qualified to represent the US as press secretary.
And, journalist Andrei Sidorchik hurled racial slurs as he targeted Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre, who served as Kamala Harris’ chief of staff during her 2020 presidential campaign, formally replaced ex press secretary Jen Psaki on May 13.
Addressing reporters at the lectern, she said: “I am obviously acutely aware that my presence at this podium represents a few firsts.
“I am black, gay immigrant woman, the first of all three of those to hold this position.
“I would not be here today if it were not for generations of barrier-breaking people before me.”
She concluded: “I stand on their shoulders.”
The White House revealed that Jean-Pierre would replace Psaki on May 5.
President Joe Biden said: “Karine not only brings the experience, talent, and integrity needed for this difficult job, but she will continue to lead the way in communicating about the work of the Biden-Harris Administration on behalf of the American people.
“Jill and I have known and respected Karine a long time and she will be a strong voice speaking for me and this Administration.”
In May 2021, Jean-Pierre, a former political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, revealed she came out to her mom when she was 16.
Recalling the moment in a post online, she said: “The revolted look on her face sent me running back into the proverbial closet and slamming the door shut.
“After that, my sexuality became a family secret and it would stay that way for years.
“I dated, but I hid those relationships from my family. Just as American society has evolved over the course of the past couple of decades to embrace the LGBTQ community (never forgetting we still have work to do), my family has evolved to embrace my membership in it.”
Expressing her pride, she said: “I’m proud to be an out Black Queer woman and I have been for quite some time.
“I’m happy to say, my Mother is now proud of ALL of who I am; she loves my partner and she loves being a doting grandmother to the daughter we are raising.”
Jean-Pierre’s partner is Suzanne Malveaux, who was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan.

Malveaux attended Harvard University, earning a degree in sociology, before attending Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She co-anchored CNN’s Around the World and also served as a White House correspondent.
