JOB site Indeed is holding a two-day online hiring event next week with over 2,000 roles up for grabs.
Employers from a wide range of businesses will be attending, including supermarkets, insurance firms, delivery groups and care companies.

Big-name brands looking to take on more staff include Morrisons, Marks and Spencer and Lidl, as well as Direct Line, Yodel and Bupa Care Homes.
The hiring event – which is free to attend, with interviews done virtually – will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday, November 10 and 11.
Indeed says their job days will reduce the hiring time from an average of six weeks to just days – or even on-the-spot offers.
Which companies are taking part in the Indeed job days?
INDEED has confirmed the following businesses will be holding interviews as part of their two-day job hiring event:
Retail: Lidl, Marks and Spencer, Morrisons
Insurance: Direct Line Group
Logistics: DHL, Yodel, UPS
Care: Bupa Care Homes, HC-One, Four Seasons Healthcare, Voyage Care Group, Care UK, Priory Group, Elysium Healthcare, The Orders of St Johns Care Trust, Maria Mallaband, Affinity Trust, Sunrise Senior Living
Jobseekers can use a special website set up by Indeed to book an interview slot as part of its hiring days.
Once you’ve clicked on the link, you’ll see a long list of companies advertising roles and time slots available.
You can also search by city, to see what’s available near where you live.
For example, when The Sun checked today, we saw jobs advertised for warehouse operatives at Morrisons and care assistants at Voyage Care.
We also saw roles going for warehouse workers at Amazon and a team manager at Marks and Spencer.
Some roles will say how much you’ll be paid, but not all.
If you find something that takes your interest, click RSVP to book your interview slot.
Interview times vary between 8.30am and 6pm, but you’ll get to pick a half hour slot for each job role you go for.
After you’ve booked, you’ll be sent instructions on what happens next, including an email on how to connect with your interviewee when it’s your turn.
You’ll also be told whether you need to bring anything extra with you to your interview, such as your CV, relevant qualifications or proof of identity.
Top five tips for a video interview
INDEED has also shared five tips to help you nail a video interview:
Research the company: Check the job description for clues about what employers are looking for. Match these up with your own qualities, qualifications and personality to show you’re the best person for the job.
Check your internet connection: Try to find a quiet location with a good internet connection and a computer or laptop with a webcam. It’s also a good idea to check that your webcam and audio are working and to close any windows, tabs or applications on your computer that you’re not using.
Dress appropriately: Virtual interviews might be a different experience than usual but you should still dress the part.
Remember body language: Eye contact is very important during an in-person interview so try to avoid the instinct to look directly at your interviewer on the screen while you’re answering a question. Instead, when you speak, direct your gaze towards the camera lens.
Don’t fret about interruptions: Accidents and mistakes happen so the best thing to do if something unexpected happens is to try to remain relaxed.
As your interview will be online, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got a computer, laptop, phone or tablet with a camera so you can communicate with your interviewee.

We’ve asked Indeed what happens if certain jobs are overwhelmed with demand, and if interview sign-ups can be pulled if too many people show interest.
Broken down, there are 300 jobs available in retail, 100 in insurance, 460-plus in delivery and logistics, and 1,000-plus in care.
The jobs available will be in England and Scotland.

In more positive job news, insurance giant Zurich has revealed plans to “re-skill and re-train” 3,000 workers, or two thirds of the UK workforce, so they are able to do AI-related roles in future.
Employees are to receive training in robotics, data science and cyber security.
