Taking Inventory of Your Diet

Take a week to write down everything that you consume in a day. From the number of cups of coffee to the types of snacks you eat. This provides a clear picture of your diet and will help you identify problem areas.

Taking note of portion size and calories can help you gain insight into how many calories are being consumed every day. It’ll help identify areas where portion sizes can be adjusted.

Keep a food journal of your meals, snacks, and liquids throughout the day. This is important to track progress and maintain focus. 

Building an Exercise Plan

Start by committing yourself and finding a way to make exercise a regular part of your life. This could be something as simple as taking a thirty-minute walk after work or more structured like joining a gym and committing to two days of cardio and two days of strength training each week.

Once you have a plan, staying consistent and tracking your progress is essential. Keep a journal of your workouts and review them regularly to check your progress and make any necessary changes to your routine.
