Chelsea players look like they gave up and Thomas Tuchel is the most frustrated he has EVER been during Brighton draw
Chelsea drew 1-1 with Brighton this evening and in all reality I am not exaggerating when I say that the players did not turn up until the 80th minute.
Despite getting the opening goal in the first half, that was totally against the run of play and Chelsea were more than lucky to be going in at half-time in front.

Brighton were the better team and really deserved their equaliser in the second half.
They deserved more in fact and should have scored when they had the momentum and were all over Chelsea.
But once again with Chelsea’s players the same old reoccurring story pops up and that is that these set of players drop their heads and look disinterested when things go against them.
Although on this occasion they looked disinterested before the game even started.
Thomas Tuchel was the most frustrated I have ever seen him on the touchline and he even went and sat down and showed no emotions at all for a long period in the first half, I have never seen him like that at Chelsea.
Hakim Ziyech couldn’t even force a smile when he scored his goal and didn’t even celebrate, it was not really a picture of a team who had just gone 1-0 up.
So why on earth are these players looking so lost and down? Has the Romelu Lukaku situation taken an effect? Who knows.
But the bottom line is they didn’t show any fight tonight, they showed no team chemistry and the will to fight for each other, fight for the boss, and fight for the club.
They literally gave up at times. There was a moment when Webster ran past three of Chelsea’s players who didn’t even attempt to make a challenge and stop him, he just breezed past and our players let him.
Tuchel didn’t make any changes until the 80th minute almost as if he had given up as well, it was very odd.
The whole night and atmosphere amongst the Chelsea team and players was odd.
As fans, we knew we wouldn’t win this from the moment we started playing, the body language was all off and we didn’t show any quality on the ball, no intensity, and no urgency, until the last ten minutes that is, which again was really weird.
But here we are again questioning the mentalities of some of these players, it’s not the first time, and I don’t expect it to be the last.
