THIS is the chilling moment terrorists joked about blasting kids with shrapnel as they wore Mother of Satan suicide vests before the Barcelona massacre.
The footage was played to a Spanish court during the trial of three suspected accomplices of Moroccan Younes Abouyaaqoub, who was shot dead after using a rented van to mow down and kill 14 people.

In the film, the murderer giggles as he tries on a suicide vest ahead of the 2017 killings.
Mohamed Hichamy, one of the five terrorists who ploughed into pedestrians in the Catalan resort of Cambrils hours after the Las Ramblas massacre, stares into the camera with a smile on his face.
He then warns: “Each gram of this metal is going to end up in your head, in that of your children and your women.”
Abouyaaqoub and Hichamy were both killed by police, but Mohamed Houli Chemlal, who allegedly filmed the video, is one of the three defendants accused of helping the attackers.
The trial is expected to hear from 235 witnesses and run until mid-December.
The sickening footage, made public for the first time on Tuesday when it was played at Spain’s National High Court in Madrid, was recorded at a bomb-making factory in Alcanar in the province of Tarragona.
Another man pictured in the footage is Youssef Aalla, who is thought by investigators to have died in an accidental explosion days before the attack, at a house used by the plotters.
Authorities say the gang had planned an attack with explosive vests and grenades.
However, after Aalla’s death, the remaining plotters planned a van rampage instead.
State prosecutor Ana Noe asked the court to display the footage on the first day of the trial.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the bloodshed, which left 140 wounded.
Although the six perpetrators were shot dead by police, many questions remain, with victims and prosecutors hoping the trial will shed light on what happened.

In the footage, the terrorists are surrounded by substances thought to be a peroxide-based explosive called TATP or ‘Mother of Satan’.
Police said at the time they believed the terror gang were going to use it to detonate butane gas cylinders and blow up iconic landmarks including the Sagrada Familia.
In the video, Aalla says: “Allah has promised us paradise and you hell.”
Another adds: “Look what we’re doing – see how you’re going to suffer.”
At one point Abouyaaqoub turns to the camera and says: “With God’s help, we’re going to protect our religion.”
Hichamy says: “Allah has chosen us from millions of men to make you cry blood.”
Holding up one of the weapons in the room he adds: “This is an improvised hand grenade, but it does its job.”
He then makes a terrifying claim of ‘filling victims’ heads with shrapnel’.
Abouyaaqoub, 22, was shot dead after running down pedestrians in Las Ramblas.
Five other terrorists were shot dead in Cambrils the following day after ramming into pedestrians in the town and fatally stabbing a woman.
Houli Chemlal, one of the men in the video, told authorities after his arrest that he had been told what to say and that he did not agree with what they did.
He did not answer prosecutors’ questions on Tuesday, but told the court he has “always shown my desire to collaborate and my repentance”.
Prosecutors want the defendant jailed for 41 years if he is found guilty.
The other two defendants are Driss Oukabir, whose brother Moussa was shot dead by police in Cambrils.
Oukabit will face a 36-year prison sentence if found guilty.
Said Ben Iazza could be sentenced to eight years in jail if convicted of lending a van to one of the terrorists.
He has insisted he thought the vehicle was going to be used to transport cleaning products.
