A baker has shared a super-simple recipe for cookie dough, and you won’t even have to turn your oven on.
It’s completely safe to eat this delicious dough without baking it because it’s egg-free.
The delicious fool-proof recipe comes from Eloise Head, the founder of FitWaffle Kitchen.
She promises the chocolate chip cookie dough only takes around 10 minutes to make, so it’s a quick treat to eat alone or to enhance other bakes.
On Instagram she wrote: ‘This stuff is sooo addictive. It’s egg-free and totally safe to eat!
‘Perfect to use in ice cream, cheesecakes, and other no-bake desserts.’
Depending on how you want to use the cookie dough, the mixture should make six to eight servings.
- 115g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g light brown sugar
- 50g granulated sugar
- 30ml milk (any kind)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 150g plain flour, heat treated
- 1 tsp salt
- 150g chocolate chips
Make sure to heat treat the flour (Picture: FitWaffle Kitchen/Instagram)
- Add unsalted butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar to a bowl and cream them together.
- Add milk and vanilla then mix them in.
- Add the heat treated flour and salt then mix to form a dough texture.
- Fold the chocolate chips in the dough.
- Scoop your dough into a container and store it in the fridge.
Eloise says in the comments under her video you could freeze them like the Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough.
Not heard of heat treated flour? It’s pretty simple and necessary to make the cookie dough safe to eat.
To heat treat the flour:
Microwave on high for 1 min 20 seconds, or spread it out on a tray and bake in the oven at 160C for 5 minutes. Allow to cool fully before using.

As with all FitWaffle bakes, the comment section exploded with people keen to try the recipe.
One fan wrote: ‘Next weekend you bet I’ll be making bowls of this!!!!’
It makes an upgrade on equally as quick mug cake recipes.
