“Ways You’re Wearing Straight-Leg Jeans Wrong and Looking Frumpy: Insight from a Fashionista”

A FASHION fan has shared her tip for fixing straight jeans so they never look frumpy. 

Anna Mae Grove said in a TikTok video online she couldn’t get her straight jeans to look right till she found a super easy solution.

Anna said: “If you just can’t get straight jeans to look right no matter what you do… TRY THIS.”

The fashion fan said: “I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you have been trying with all your heart to wear straight jeans and they never work for you.”

“You just cannot get them to look right.”

Anna said the solution was cutting your jeans.

She said: “They are probably too long. Just cut them”

The fashion fan showed why she thought her straight jeans didn’t work with most of her shoes.

“I could keep them like this with my heels, there’s no problem with it.”

“Girls on TikTok are just so cute when they do this but I don’t feel like it’s flattering on me.” 

The fashion fan said she was 5’4 so even with sneakers the straight jeans just didn’t fit right. 

She said: “I’m 5’4. I just don’t feel as polished even with sneakers, it looks so good on so many people but this is just not my personality.”

“I’m going to cut these.”

Anna folds the hem of her jeans on both legs and uses that to measure her where she will cut her jeans. 

Anna then shares how different her outfit looks once she has trimmed her jeans. 

She said: “Perfect for flats, uggs, open to booties, sneakers and Chelsea boots.”

Anna concluded: “If you hate your jeans, probably just cut them.”

Anna’s video gained over 630,000 views. 

One user said: “You don’t know how much I needed this. When I say I’m running to my scissors right now.”

Another said: “Hard knowing I lived until now wearing unflattering pants when all I had to do was cutting them like this. I blame my mom. She said I’d ruin them.”
