THE majority of women wear bras, but it turns out that there’s some things we are doing wrong, including how we wash and fold our bras.
A professional bra fitter Nicola Crook, who is from the UK, regularly posts to TikTok, sharing her top bra tips.

Nicola has racked up 44.4k followers and 2.2million likes on the social media platform, with many trusting her useful and simple advice.
Nicola aims to “help women find great fitting bras” and is now here with the top things she would never do as a bra fitter.
So if you put your bra in the washing machine and always assume you are the same size bra in every single shop, prepare to be attacked, as Nicola does not agree.
Nicola said: “Five things I would never do as a bra fitter.
“Folding the cups one inside the other.
“Thinking that just because you are one size in one brand, that you are the same size in all brands. Often this is not the case…
“Never put your bra in the washing machine if you want it to last.
“Telling customers that the biggest band size is a DD, when bras go up to an O cup.
“Assuming that your size has not changed since you started wearing bras.”
Many of us are guilty to a few of these – but according to this bra expert, folding the cup of your bra inside the other will cause real damage to your bra over time.
And not only this, but if you put your bras in the washing machine, over the time, the lace will fray and your bra will become weaker.
Nicola’s video has clearly impressed many, as it has only been on TikTok for a day, but has already racked up 10.3k views.
While many people liked the video, other people questioned some of her advice.
One person said: “You are awesome”.
Another added: “Honestly I’m a 34A I think I’ll be the same size in most brands”, to which Nicola said “not always the case”.
A third asked: “How else do I need to wash them?” to which Nicola replied “hand wash and use a delicate detergent”.
