And if you are planning on celebrating the big occasion and need something to wear, don’t worry about going out and spending a fortune on a fancy outfit, we’ve got a simple outfit hack for you.
TikToker and mum Kara Pilsbury took to the social media platform to share her simple hack and it’s left people open-mouthed.
Kara uploaded her video with the caption ‘Celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee in style’.
Kara’s video sees her transform a plain white t-shirt into the ultimate Jubilee style design.
And to create this design she uses just one piece of material – an Aldi bag.
Yes, you heard that correctly.
All you’ll need is an Aldi carrier bag – that you can pick up from your local store for just 20p.
Many TikTokers were extremely impressed with Kara’s mum hack and hailed it ‘genius’.
Kara demonstrates how she creates her unique t-shirt – first she uses a pair of scissors to cut a heart out of the Aldi bag.
If you haven’t seen the latest Aldi shopping bags, they sport a union jack of tomatoes and blackberries.
Kara then places the heart over the t-shirt, in a position that suits her.
Once the heart is in the correct place, she next gets some greaseproof paper and places it over the heart.
To transfer the heart to the t-shirt, Kara uses her iron on full heat, slowly over the greaseproof paper.
Finally, when it has cooled, she slowly removes the paper, revealing her very own, homemade Jubilee top.
We think Kara’s idea is great and is a brilliant way to dress up for the Jubilee, whilst saving money doing so.
Especially if you have children and want to make them something unique without having to splash the cash and go to the shops, this is one to try.
But if you don’t have a plain white t-shirt spare, fear not – Kara picked hers up from Primark for just £2.
After just 20 hours of being live on TikTok, Kara’s video has clearly impressed many, as it has racked up a whopping 872.3k views.
It has 33.1k likes, 736 comments and 9,625 shares.
One person said: “Genius, saved a lot of stress and money for parents.”
Another added: “That’s so clever.”
A third commented: “Oh ace! Wish I’d known this yesterday for my kids’ school celebration.”
Another stated: “Omg getting my backside to Aldi pronto!!”
One TIkToker added: “Epic Idea. Thank you for Sharing.”
