Big fan of Balenciaga? Well, you probably don’t love the huge price tags that come with the designer brand.
Good news: A TikTok user has found a cheaper pair of Balenciaga dupes, available at store JD Sports for a fraction of the price.
While the original track nylon and mesh trainers might set you back an eye-watering £750, JD’s offering is a lot more generous.
You can get your hands on the Fila Electrove pair for just £45 – that’s £680 cheaper than the designer version.
The budget-friendly option is available in black or white, with peach or purple and yellow detailing.
The TikTok, user who goes by Natalie MC on the app, shared a video with the range available.
She wrote: ‘Girls, if you love the style of Balenciaga tracks but don’t have the budget, Fila have similar style trainers in JD for a fraction of the cost.’
She captioned the video with ‘boujee on a budget’.
While Natalie was certainly impressed by the find, others were divided.
Some suggested buying an actual fake version of the Balenciaga original, instead of opting for another brand’s imitation.

One wrote: ‘I usually agree with everything you show but these are terrible! Just buy jarg (fakes) if you can’t afford’.
But Natalie said even fakes can be pricey, responding: ‘Not everyone’s cup of tea but some girls might like them. I’ve got proper ones but know not everyone can even afford good fakes at the min.’
Another retorted: ‘I’d be sick if I saw these in person’.
A bit harsh. Natalie responded, saying the trainers were like Marmite, set to divide people.
