WWE has a stacked schedule this Christmas, with plenty over the festive season for wrestling fans to enjoy.
The company never puts highlight shows out for its flagship Raw and SmackDown events, instead priding itself on broadcasting new episodes 52 weeks of the year – and the festive season is no different.
From championship matches to steel cages, there is plenty on tap with WWE not holding back heading into the final week or so of the year.
Here’s what pro wrestling (and sports entertainment) fans can sink their teeth into over the next few days.
WWE Christmas Week schedule
Wednesday (23): NXT (1am on BT Sport)
Christmas Eve (Thursday, 24): NXT UK (8pm on WWE Network)
Christmas Day (Friday, 25): SmackDown (1am on BT Sport)
Monday (28): Raw (1am on BT Sport)
Will the WWE Christmas shows be live?

Tonight’s episode of NXT will be broadcast live, but that’s where things take a turn.
NXT UK is always pre-taped at BT Sport Studios in London, and so the Christmas Eve edition will be no different.
Meanwhile, SmackDown won’t be shown live on Friday, in order to let the talent and crew spend time with their loved ones on Christmas Day – which hasn’t always been the case in the past.
However, this time round it was actually filmed last night, with fans lucky enough to make it onto the ThunderDome screens getting an advanced look at what’s to come on Friday night.
Then, we’ll be back to normal by the 28th, with Raw airing live a week before the special Legends Night in the New Year.
What to expect from WWE’s Christmas Week shows
There’s a lot going down, with plenty already advertised for NXT on Wednesday night.
‘The Colossal’ Bronson Reed makes his return this week, and we’ll also get treated to a NXT Tag Team Title Street Fight between the champs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, and challengers Killian Dain and Drake Maverick.
Current NXT Champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly – set for a rematch at New Year’s Evil on January 6 – will ‘relive’ their epic NXT TakeOver 31 clash, while Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott seeks redemption against Jake Atlas, and Rhea Ripley will face Dakota Kai.
In another exciting treat, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano will be joined by the rest of The Way – Candice LeRae, Austin Theory and Indi Hartwell – to deliver ‘A Very Gargano Christmas’.
We know NXT UK will be a Christmas Eve Special, but nothing else has really been announced yet – we’ll update you if that changes.
Finally, SmackDown on Christmas Day looks absolutely stacked, with Roman Reigns defending the Universal Title against Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage, and Big E challenging Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.
